Navigating the Nervous System

Description: The nervous system is the central command center of our movement, thoughts, emotions and experience with the world.  It simply takes in information, processes it, and outputs signals, yet, within that simple process there are many variables that we can control. We created this webinar to give you the understanding and the tools to access what we can control in your own practice and as a teacher.

This webinar is a practical introduction to the function and anatomy of the nervous system and its role and influences in yoga and physical therapy.  With evidenced-based research, we strive to answer all the questions you have about movement control, pain science, stress adaptations and “being present”. You will learn why it is so important to understand how the brain and spinal cord work, and how to harness their power with practical tools to help yourself and your students make lasting healthy change.
